The building of the shelter, both inside and out, is finished in wood in a highland style, creating a unique atmosphere.
Tourists are eager to visit the "Kochanówka" shelter to see the Szklarka waterfall, which tears through the Szklarka Gorge. From a height of 13.3 meters, the Szklarka River cascades down, forming a circular erosion kettle.
The upper part of the waterfall is situated at an altitude of 528 m above sea level, and the area is covered with beeches and firs. Together they create a unique microclimate that attracts tourists longing for contact with nature.
Among the tourist attractions around "Kochanówka", besides the view of the wonderful waterfall illuminated at night, there are also cycling routes, skiing trails, and paths for mountain hiking. Animals are welcome in the shelter.
